Once upon a time, my grand-father
was riding his mule back home. He found a dog almost dead. The poor animal was
very thirsty. There was a deep well near. As there was no bucket, he took off a
long garment around his head as a protection from the sun and tried to reach
the water. And so, he could quench the dog’s thirst, pressing the garment
soaked with water. Then, he gave it something to eat. He rode his mule and set
back home. The dog followed him timidly.

Come on! , my grand-father
said.
The dog ran happily. Suddenly, the
mule stopped. There was a menacing snake in the way. My grand-father tried to
calm the mule. The dog barked at the
snake courageously. The venomous reptile disappeared among the bushes. The dog
showed pride looking at my grand-father, who looked at the sky smiling.
He
first felt pity for the dog, but now, he loved it! He was rewarded for his
benevolence!

una vez, mi abuelo montando su mula de vuelta a casa. Encontró un perro casi
muerto. El pobre animal tenía mucha sed. Había un profundo pozo cercano. Se
quitó un largo tejido que llevaba alrededor de su cabeza como protección del sol y trató de alcanzar el agua con él. Y
así, pudo saciar la sed del perro torciendo
el tejido empapado de agua. Luego, le dio algo de comer.
Montó su mula
y se dirigió hacia casa. El perro lo seguía con timidez.
- ¡Vamos! , dijo mi abuelo.
El
perro corrió feliz. De repente, la mula se detuvo. Había una serpiente
amenazante en el camino. Mi abuelo trató de calmar a la mula. El perro ladró a la serpiente con valentía.
El reptil venenoso desapareció entre los arbustos. El perro mostró orgullo
mirando a mi abuelo, que miró al cielo sonriendo.
A
principio, sintió lástima por el perro, pero
ahora, le encantó. Fue recompensado por
su benevolencia.
Il
était une fois, mon grand-père qui rentrait chez lui, à dos de mule. Il trouva
un chien presque mort. Le pauvre animal avait soif. Il y avait un puits profond

sa tête pour se protéger du soleil» et essaya d'atteindre l'eau. Il tordit le ruban mouillé d’eau. Ainsi, il
put étancher la soif du chien. Puis, il lui
donna quelque chose à manger. Il monta sa mule et retourna à la maison.
Le chien le suivit timidement.
- Allons! , Mon grand-père
l’encouragea.
Le chien
courut joyeusement. Soudain, la mule s'arrêta. Il y avait un serpent
menaçant. Mon grand-père tenta de calmer
la mule. Le chien aboya au serpent avec courage. Le reptile venimeux disparut
dans les buissons. Le chien se montra fier en regardant mon grand-père qui leva
les yeux vers le ciel en souriant. Il avait d'abord ressenti pitié envers le
chien, mais finalement, il l'aima! Il fut récompensé pour sa bienveillance!
يحكى أن الجد كان راكبا بغلته عائدا
إلى البيت. وجد كلبا كاد يموت قريبا من بئر. كان الحيوان المسكين عطشانا. استعمل
الجد عمامته ليصل إلى الماء. عصر العمامة في فم الكلب ليروي ظمأه. ثم أعطاه شيئا
يأكله.
ركب بغلته متجها نحو البيت. تبعه
الكلب بخجل.
"هيا" – قال الجد.
جرى الكلب فرحا. فجأة وقفت البغلة.
كان في الطريق ثعبان مهدد. حاول الجد أن يهدئ البغلة. نبح الكلب على الثعبان
بشجاعة. اختفى الزاحف السام بين الشجيرات. أبدى الكلب فخرا وهو ينظر إلى الجد الذي
نظر إلى السماء مبتسما.
أحس بالعطف على الكلب بادئ الأمر،
لكنه الآن أحبه. حصل على جزاء فضله.
